It will be occupied by José Cláudio Gonçalves (Naval) and will develop projects to attract partners and create new sources of revenue for the company
São Paulo, April 2022 – Expand the offer of products and services beyond the core business of neutral fiber optic network. This is the mission that the executive, José Cláudio Gonçalves, known as Naval, will have as the head of the Innovation and New Business board at V.tal, created to drive innovation among telecommunication companies.
“Our proposal will be to create new products and services to complement the offerings to our customers, but not only this. We will also seek to expand our operations in other markets, within an innovative logic and in partnerships,” explains Naval.
Graduated in Mechanical Production Engineering from the Pontifical Catholic University of RJ, he also holds an MBA in Logistics from FGV-RJ, an Executive MBA from Fundação Dom Cabral, and an Executive Post-MBA from the Kellog School of Management.
In the telecommunications sector, he worked for more than 20 years at Oi, where he held the positions of XXXXXXXXXXX, having led the modeling process that resulted in the independent fiber optic structure and now at V.tal.
For this work at the operator and for his knowledge of the Telecom market, he was invited to develop V.tal’s new business area. “We will value our company by including new business on the platform and bringing in new money. We will have a controller who knows how to make investments and potential partners who are already very interested, since V.tal is already healthy and with a unique infrastructure to leverage new opportunities,” says the executive.
According to Naval, many development fronts are already being prepared pending the closing of the purchase of V.tal by BTG Pactual.“ In the meantime,” he says, “we are talking to partners and preparing an internal structure that constantly thinks about innovation, so that everyone can participate in this new stage and the new markets that we will explore.”
