Salvador, August 9, 2022 – V.tal and GlobeNet, companies that offer, respectively, the largest neutral fiber optic network in the country and one of the most important subsea cable networks in the Americas, are present at the ISP Meeting Business, Bahia’s main regional business event for internet providers, which takes place on August 9 at the Hotel DeVille Prime, in Salvador.
The companies will be able to present to telecom operators and regional providers their business models and FTTH (Fiber-To-The-Home) services, Connectivity, National and International Capacity, IP Connect, GNIIX, Edge Data Center and Anti DDoS Security, which together form one of the most complete digital infrastructure ecosystems in the Brazilian market. V.tal has 400,000 kilometers of ground-based fiber optic network, which reaches more than 2,300 locations in all regions of Brazil, and GlobeNet more than 26,000 km of subsea cables and edge data centers that connect Argentina, Brazil, Venezuela, Colombia, Bermuda and the United States.
V.tal’s FTTH (Fiber To The Home) service enables providers and operators to sell high-speed internet solutions to end customers by sharing V.tal’s fiber optic infrastructure. “By opting for our neutral network model, these companies do not have to worry about the construction and maintenance of cables and equipment, dedicating their efforts to launch services and operate in new markets, in addition to quality service to their end customers. The company’s strategy is to reach 34 million homes passed by 2025 with an investment plan of R$30 billion already underway.
GlobeNet will present at the event the advantages of its IP Connect product, dedicated internet access, which directly connects operators and providers to its Edge Data Center and traffic exchange points located in Fortaleza, which represents having computing resources close to users, ensuring a better experience in using the internet whether for online gaming, streaming or the use of other technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and IoT. “The ISP Meeting Salvador is the first event that V.tal and GlobeNet participate in together. We are going through an integration process between the companies that will result in the largest digital infrastructure company in the country with a focus on offering quality and high reliability services to our customers,” says Marquez.
