Goiânia, September 13, 2022 – Consumers in Anápolis and Goiânia, in Goiás, have one more fixed broadband service option. Siga Banda Larga is the newest operator to offer high quality internet services in these cities, thanks to a new business model that has spread throughout the country, which is the neutral fiber optic network sharing, offered by V.tal – an innovation that has enabled the expansion of several regional providers throughout Brazil.

Siga Banda Larga already operates in the corporate market in the states of São Paulo, Minas Gerais, Goiás, Maranhão, Pará and Tocantins, in addition to being an MVNO (Virtual Mobile Operator), selling chips in more than 5,300 cities. With this experience in the telecom sector, the company expands its scope of operation and starts to offer ultra-speed broadband internet to the residential market – retail and small businesses – optimizing its commercial structure and sharing V.tal’s fiber optic infrastructure, which is the largest in the country, with more than 400 thousand km of cables and more than 17 million past FTTH (Fiber-to-the-home) homes ready to be connected by client providers.

“We see a demand for better internet services in the cities where we operate. And V.tal’s proposal, which offers fiber connectivity throughout Brazil, with a high quality network and with support and infrastructure that allow us to start operating very quickly, was decisive for Siga to expand its portfolio of services without building more of its own network, with a very interesting and very competitive commercial proposal”, says David Siqueira – CEO of Siga Banda Larga.

Siga Banda Larga’s proposal is to offer complete services to its customers, combining fixed and mobile internet, improving the cost-benefit ratio, as well as creating customized plans for specific groups of customers, such as sports associations, for example.

For V.tal, it is a new partner with a vision for the future and with a differentiated value proposition for the market. “Siga Banda Larga is seeking to differentiate itself in a sector that is very competitive but at the same time lacks a service that is closer to the end clients. We believe that their experience in mobile telephony as an MVNO, which also does not need its own mobile network, is very similar to our fiber-optic neutral network concept, where V.tal’s partners do not need to invest in infrastructure. This is a trend that is already benefiting both internet providers that intend to expand their operations and the emergence of new players in the fiber broadband market,” says Rafael Marquez, Marketing Director at V.tal.

Siga Banda Larga has contracted V.tal’s FTTH (Fiber To The Home) service in the cities of Anápolis and Goiânia, where there are already about 550,000 addresses with fiber on the door; therefore, prepared to connect end customers.

The company has launched promotional actions on its Instagram profile for consumers who want to hire its services with differentiated offers. And it has signed sponsorships with “sertanejos” during the entire promotional period until 2023.
